Grief has its own Timetable
Grief has it own timetable and it’s own unique expression within each of us. You will heal at your own pace, and in your own way.
Six months ago my father crossed over. Being a pilot, he was used to flying the big skies, but on this day he flew on different wings.
He’s flying with the big boys now.

Sitting out at the airport this evening, I caught a wonderful view. And I could hear Papa’s short quip, “Looks like a fair day tomorrow!”

Finding ways to honor a loved one who has passed on can be very healing.
Allow yourself to feel what you need to feel so that healing can come.
Our physical health benefits when we allow ourselves to heal emotionally and spiritually. It’s all connected.

Such synchronicity. I wrote today about my wife, who passed away and I just read about your father. Yes my pilgrim friend all of us have our own time frame of handling our grief. That was my today’s post – Time heals nothing … it just teaches us how to handle our pain.
Looks like you had an awesome father as was my wife.
May God be with you and fill your life with love and joy. And that He gives you wisdom to deal with your father’s absence. I am sure he is in very good Hands 🙏

I had just seen your post a few minutes ago and was thinking the same thing: synchronicity. I wrote mine yesterday and yours came today. I have often wondered about the saying, “time heals” thinking 🤔… I don’t know that that is always the case. Thank you for your words of wisdom and comfort. 😊

The poem is short but carries a lot of meaning if scrutinized properly.
Such a profound way of writing. Love the beginning part of it( The gleaning
seeking fallen fruit)
and the end part of the poem just made it look real again(
the triumphant resistance
against an Empire of darkness)
Thanks for giving me that mindset about emotion as you said in your poem explanation.
