There is soooo much construction there now, in too many states and Atlanta, Atlanta is so bad now that the bypass is best.
I was delivering a load of cars for the ex-boss which I enjoyed doing for 20+ years.
The last time I passed that way was around February, 2020. Just before I was hauling a load into the Tampa Bay area. More to that story, but this was barely before COVID and I was blasted with a kidney stone. No rant here…
Thank you, Lithotripsy, for destroying that stone!
Yeah it’s crazy how often we are sitting on those roads due to construction. I’d sure rather sit in construction though then deal with a kidney stone 😳 I’m glad it was taken care of and you’re better
now. 👍😊
One experience of driving through Atlanta: needing to use the bathroom throughout the entire trip through the city that took 4 x too long due to traffic. There should be a sign at the over ramps located at the city edges that state, “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here” and also, “Do keep a large 911 cup & tissues in your vehicle.” but it’s kinda pretty : )
Lololol, for sure! I love those sayings. I have learned to make pit stops either before or after city limits. There’s nothing worse than getting stuck in the traffic swamp when you’re trying to get to a bathroom! 🤯 “Do not enter” is my leading thought, and “Abandon all hope” is better! 🤣
Nice photos! I’m guessing the road is SB I-75, not the Bypass. 😂

Right, and you don’t want to be in the wrong lane or you’re stuck for a while heading the wrong direction! 😦🤣

The first photo looks similar to an angle of downtown Minneapolis!
