    Frozen in Time

Water flows, always on the move.

Ever changing, what does it prove?

Then it stands still – for a moment in time,

Like a looking glass, we look and we find.

What has been flowing – is now still.

What was up – now pointing downhill.

Past echoes, future sight – drumming.

The sun is coming, the sun is coming…

    Wellness Tip

While working at an herb shop a few years ago, I learned about a wonderful immune system strengthener. I don’t take this every day, but it has been a wonderful prevention used at the first sign of a cold or not feeling well: Wellness Formula can really give your immune system a needed boost!

“Wellness Formula addresses the root causes of winter season challenges with over 30 powerful ingredients, including antioxidants, herbal extracts, vitamins and minerals. These ingredients provide targeted support for all of the body systems associated with immunity.”

    Moss Forest

    A World within a World

A small patch of moss nestled on rocks by the little stream, takes on new character close up. It has its own landscape of mountains, river, and taller trees reaching up through the mossy forest below. Perhaps a small fairy lives here who has tamed the frog croaking nearby.

We never did find Jeremiah, but he called to us all the same. 🐸

    A moment in time.

    It remains.

I carry it within my soul.

    It’s quietness in the noise,

    It’s water in the desert.

    I take it with me.

    It remains within.

    This moment in time…

    Swamp Lands

    by Thela 🦊 Foxgood

We went wandering through swamp lands this weekend. It was nice to let nature soak into our souls for a bit and take a break from the bustle and hustle of daily life.

“It would be an ill thing if wonders were for the seeing and we without the seeing them.”

-Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed, in The Fates of the Princes of Dyfed by Kenneth Morris

“The fire divine in all things burning
    Seeks the mystic heart anew,
From its wandering far again returning
    Child, to you.”

    -George Russell, Benediction

I’ve seen this written in two different ways. Here is one version:

    *****

“The first time I saw him he was cooking mushrooms for himself.

The next time he was asleep under a hedge, smiling to himself.

Assuredly, some joy not quite of this steadfast earth lightens in those eyes…”

-William Butler Yeats, Fairy and Folk Tales of the Irish Peasantry

    The Water Lily

The botanical name Nymphaea is from Nymphe, the goddess of springs. Some believe that water lilies are nymphs and it is said that water lilies grow where nymphs play.
