It is great to see old things restored! Or preserved. We wouldn’t be able to see them, experience a taste of these times otherwise. I’d love to see more of this too 😊
Reminds me of of life in all its glory as I watched my mom suffer and die along with 2 amputations on 1 leg. It is a beautiful photo that is pregnant with the suffering of others. Sometimes art captures the human experience, the terrible and the beautiful. Yes, I believe art imitates life.
Wonderful

The chair is in great condition considering its age but wouldn’t put my dad in it!

Yes I would be afraid it would not hold up! 😊

It’s so good that someone has preserved it. This reminds me of the many old barns slowly collapsing in Michigan. Our heritage lay in shambles. 😩

Agreed. Humans live their lives far too fast today, Beth. 😩

Yes I felt this also: both the beauty and also human suffering. The photo captured a lot of things…so much more than the eye
can see. 🙏
