Oh yes! Back in Michigan, I have seen the Red Pines become golden-ish colored when they seem to bloom or pollinate. That stuff covers every single thing near the tree. When the wind blows hard, the stuff blows off of the tree in a cloud. Kind of pretty! ☺️
I know this phenomenon well. Everything is covered in yellow pollen here. It’s not much fun to breathe but maybe it’s not quite as profuse in Michigan so you can enjoy it! 😊
I like pine trees, they can smell so good!

I suspected that you knew about this! Do not breathe it, yuck. It was a hassle to have to blow it off of everything when I worked in yard maintenance.
